Located on the Great Eastern Main Lone between London and Norwich, Ipswich in Suffolk is a busy station for both freight and passenger trains.
As well as numerous through services the station has a busy stabling and refuelling point in the sidings adjacent to the platforms.
Freightliner traffic has always been heavy to and from the busy shipping port of Felixstowe, often seen behind pairs of Class 47s, 86s or 90s.
London to Norwich services feature Anglia, Intercity and Virgin Class 86s top and tailed with Anglia DBSOs.
Local services through the station see DMU and EMU Classes 150, 170, 312, 317 and 321 units, whilst locomotive workings feature Classes 08, 47, 57, 66, 86 & 90.
In total we see 75 different workings from this once busy freight location and locomotive stabling point.
The footage lasts for approximately 70 minutes (1 hour 10 minutes).
