The Power of the Class 37 - Railway DVD
The British Rail English Electric Type 3 (or class 37 as they are better known) were ordered as part of the British Rail Modernisation Plan. A total of 309 locomotives were built between 1960 and 1965.
Once a familiar site on many parts of the British Rail network, the early 00s saw a rapid decline in their numbers as new locomotives took over their duties and many were withdrawn.
This exclusive DVD features footage of over 200 different class 37s filmed mostly between 1995 & 2002.
