LNER K1 62005 working from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh with The Great Britain X Day 3 1st May 2017

Day 3 of the Great Britain saw 62005 working from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh and return. First 62005 is seen tackling the 1 in 50 grade to Ravens Rock at Fodderty. Next 62005 is seen passing over Achanalt Viaduct past the amassed crowd of photographers. After a water stop 62005 is then seen passing alongside Loch Gowan approaching the summit at Luib. A few scenes at Kyle of Lochalsh. For the return as the sun sets behind the hills 62005 works hard tender first at Glen Carron 01/05/17
