Flying Scotsman visits the Bluebell Railway 17th April 2017
Easter Monday at the Bluebell Railway saw the famous Flying Scotsman running as part of the lines week long Flying South event centered around the visit of the A3 Pacific to Sussex. A great event which had S15 847 and standard 5 Camelot on regular service trains as well as Q 30541 on brake van ride around Horstead Keynes station and yard. Flying Scotsman put on a great performance powering up the lines gradients putting on a good show for the crowds of people along the lineside (some unfortunately on the wrong side of the fence).
