The Leek & Manifold Railway (1930)

The Leek & Manifold Light Railway was a narrow guage section of the 'Leek Light Railways' with the standard guage line running from Leekbrook Junction and ran from Waterhouses in Staffordshire to Hulme End in Derbyshire. This short film was produced in 1930 and starts at Waterhouses where a standard guage 7 plank wagon can be seen being loaded onto a narrow guage wagon. The main purpose of the line was to serve a dairy which closed in 1933, the line closed not long after.
